HOLLIE PROFIT

Referred to by some as one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the rurally beautiful nation of Wales in recent times, Hollie Profit is a blistering ray of sunshine in the female DJ universe. The impressively self-taught North Wales resident may be young, but her understanding and passion for feel-good house and disco flavours have been known to whet the palate of the most-stubborn of pundits far and wide.

Inspired by Studio 54’s famous disco ball and the exciting eccentricity of the underground house scene, Hollie has quickly bolstered her career within the UK and further afield - racking up a profound list of achievements in the process.

From building up her local scene with curated events to now becoming an increasingly frequent fixture in some of the biggest club nights and festivals in the business, Hollie is moving forwards at an almost inconceivable rate which has already seen her support some of the biggest names in the business including Dimitri From Paris, Purple Disco Machine, Horse Meat Disco, The Shapeshifters, CC:DISCO!, Elliot Adamson, Romare, Mighty Mouse, Dr Packer, Craig Charles, The Martinez Brothers and many more.

Hollie’s playing style is energetic and crowd-centric; her charismatic approach to performing gives her a captivating aura and magnetises house and disco lovers alike. An impressively technical DJ with a plethora of musical knowledge, Hollie prides herself on the ability to inject life into any party and read even the toughest of crowds - an admirable trait that makes her performances both unpredictable and standout.

Within a few short years, she has gone from chiselling away at her DJ skills in her bedroom to now holding down several residencies in clubland. Hollie’s sought-after charisma and energy have already seen her grace DJ booths across Europe with the likes of Lost Village, Creamfields, Gottwood, Rise Festival, El Dorado, Cirque Du Soul, Cafe Mambo, Kaluki, Ministry of Sound, Amsterdam Dance Event and more. A list that is seamlessly growing, owing to her residencies with Church Leeds and disco house brand - Triple Cooked.

Outside of the DJ booth, the Hootie Tootie Disco Cutie is a firm advocate of women’s rights and equality within the music industry. Such emphasis on important issues has seen her championed by the likes of The Black Madonna after reaching the final stages of Smirnoff’s ‘Equalising Music’ initiative. The young disco diva shows no sign of slowing down, as she vows to leave an everlasting mark on the industry - for all the right reasons.
